With most of the enduro crop endlessly getting slacker, longer, and steeper it's nice to see the Ibis Ripmo XX1 Eagle I9 Carbon Wheel Mountain Bike break away from the mold. The Ripmo excels in tight and techy terrain all while being equipped with enough travel to keep it pointed straight when things get rough and fast. The bike is equipped with DW-link suspension, so going on long pedal days isn't something we shy away from like on most enduro bikes. We're riding the Ripmo 7 days a week lately with its versatile ability to be good enough for the park, trailhead, and enduro racing.
The reach extends to a 475mm on a size large on the V2 with a 64.9-degree head tube angle to provide high-speed stability, without sacrificing the lively handling and precise cornering the Ripmo is known for. There's nothing left to be desired with the build supplied on this XX1 and carbon hoop spec'd Ibis Ripmo. SRAM's XX1 AXS group provides an immense amount of range for getting us up the mountain and down it faster than ever with minimal maintenance thanks to its wireless technology. Ibis carbon hoops come in a massive 35mm width to support the ultra-aggressive Maxxis Assegai rubber in a 2.5in width.
*Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be minor. If you have any questions, reach out to a Gearhead by chatting online or calling 1-888-276-7130.
