Windstopper Face Warmer

When temperatures have really dropped—but of course, you're still taking out your bike—the cold air stings your skin and your lungs as you ride. The Gore Wear Gore Windstopper Face Warmer can help you enjoy your ride despite the chill, by sealing out wind and trapping in heat. The synthetic construction helps move moisture away from your skin and toward the outside where it can evaporate, and is soft and stretchy to keep you comfortable for rides long and short. A hook-and-loop closure in the rear lets you find the perfect fit, and once adjusted, the nose opening and holes at the mouth keep you comfortable throughout.

  • Face mask for cold-weather cycling
  • Gore Windstopper membrane prevents wind from sneaking in
  • Synthetic material manages moisture and temperature
  • Hook-and-loop adjustment customizes the fit
  • Nose and mouth holes for excellent airflow

Not Functional

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
One size fits all
6' 3"

I was looking forward to having this as the temps are getting low. I tired it for one ride and it was a total failure. Had to remove it and stow it in a back pocket. Initial install worked fine, but as soon as the ride began and I was looking up/down and left/right, the mask would slide down my face and became an obstacle to breathing…. I fought it for a while, adjusting the Velcro tension and trying to keep my head still, but it made no difference. About a third into the route, I just removed it. I’m 6’3” and a rather larger person, so maybe it’s the “one size fits all” aspect of it. Somehow the tags got tossed out, so I can’t return it which is very disappointing. It was supposed to be on sale, but they didn’t apply the sale price for some reason, so I paid full price of an item I can’t use.
