Description

Brave the elements.

Ignore the rain and enjoy the ride with the Gore Bike Wear Men's Element GT Jacket. Made with a Gore-Tex weather protection membrane, this jacket blocks the rain and wind with moisture-moving breathability to help you weather the worst of storms along the route.

The Element GT features an integrated hood that stows swiftly away in the collar when not in use to eliminate the pesky issue of having a windsail flailing behind your neck when you don't need the hood. An elastic drawstring and covered cord stoppers at the hem let you adjust the width for a customized fit to block out wind gusts or sneaky rain drops, and adjustable elastic sleeve cuffs provide the same protection for your wrists.

Little details such as a wardrobe hanger tab, easy-open zip tags, and drizzle-stopping zipper under-flaps make this jacket a quality addition to any wet-weather cycling outfit. The more organization-focused of us will love the plethora of pockets Gore adds in for storing essentials safely away from the weather, including a Napoleon pocket for a bit of stylish flair and quick access to items on the fly. To cap everything off, the Element GT Jacket features with reflective elements across the front and back to help increase visibility to motorists in low-light and rainy conditions so you can ride safely and be seen in dreary weather.

Great Jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Large

I've used this jacket in the cold snow as well as some rain on the MTB. it does a great job of keeping you warm and dry. It's roomy enough to add a couple layers underneath when it's really cold. I'm always skeptical of the breathability of waterproof jackets, but this jacket does a good job of releasing moisture and keeping you dry underneath. This is a must-buy at the sale price.

I thought the jacket ran a bit large based on the sizing chart. I'm 5'10" and 170lbs with a 40" chest and the large is even a bit big on me. I could probably go medium but the fit was good enough to keep the Lg.

Excellent jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Very happy with the jacket. The outer fabric is smooth and supple, not crinkly like some other rainwear. The liner makes it easy to get on and off. Have been using while biking in inclement Michigan weather, and does a great job repelling rain and blocking wind. No clammy moisture buildup inside. The rear pocket is great for a phone.

Tried both the large and medium and went the large, thinking I could use it later into fall with layers. Medium fit snugly, especially over a standard bike jersey. No room for additional layers.
