Why We Like The Supernatural Glove
Having a great ride ruined because your hands hurt so bad is the worst. When the pain is all you are focusing on, finding a pair of gloves that eliminates the discomfort in your palm is key. With the Giro Supernatural Glove, a multi-density foam covers the palm to protect your hand from common pains caused by a lack of blood flow and low arterial circulation. A texture is also added to the palm of the Supernatural Glove to enhance the overall grip, making it a great option for both road and trail riding.

Great Padding, Not so great sewing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Bought the gloves in November. Wore them maybe 5 times. Discovered yesterday that the seam on the right index finger came apart.

Nice design

Good fit (I'm 6' 4" 185 pounds, normal hands?), easy to put on / remove, padding helps with my arthritis pain (doesn't eliminate), low-height "loop and hook" closure works well.

Liked the padding, that was about it
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Interesting seamless padding, and not very thick which is the way I like it. Despite using the sizing guide and the suggestion that they may run large, my size L was skin tight making it hard to get on. The opening seems lightly stitched where the top meets and I think repeated wearing would tear this given how the thread stretched when I put it on. Given the tight fit, could have used some loops around the fingers to help. Returned.

Meh...Could be a bit better
- Familiarity:

- L

This is for my hand anyway...Here are my impressions. Right hand got numbness after about an hour, previous gloves this did not happen. I could feel the stitches in the fingers, a bit uncomfortable. Easy to go on, more difficult to take off, taking me up to 15 seconds or more to get one glove off. Runs hot, not much ventilation, hands get sweaty on the backs and fronts. Returning these for a different pair of gloves.

Yes, $50 gloves are so First World. But guess where I live? I ride all the time, and these gloves are all I wear when it's not cold. My poor 30 buck gloves are so lonely! Super Comfy, Extra Cushiony, and most of all, GOOD LOOKING! 1000 miles later they still look new. I don't gravel in them though, and that's where I do most of my crashing, so I can't speak to how they hold up in a fall (I'm a wimp, so I gravel full finger mountain.) This is how you are suppose to ride a road bike; you'll feel cheated in your thinner gloves after you ride these once. Surprisingly roomy for Giro - I could have gotten by with an L, but bought XL like I do with most Italian kit. Still love 'em!

Excellent padding and comfort
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The Supernatural glove is excellent. The new design and padding absorbs road chatter exceptionally well while remaining comfortable in the heat. The glove has an excellent anatomical fit and the integrated padding conforms well to your hand. The padding is just the right thickness and has not packed out despite over 1,000 miles on them.. They have great road feel. I really like the pull tabs on the back of the finger allowing for easy removal. They actually fit "as described" meaning they are not the typical glove where you order up a size. I wear these in a Large and my measurements are within the sizing guide for Large. I have the White and it washes well, and despite the miles on them, they look practically new.

Sizing issues for me; padding was fine
- Familiarity:

These gloves run large in my experience. The padding is generous, and after trying them out I think you sacrifice road feel for comfort, so if you want a racy glove then these are not for you. If your bike is making your teeth rattle and you want something that will help with that, then these should improve your comfort on the handlebar. If you already have a gravel bike with plush tires or a bike with a mild suspension (or both) then you can probably get away with something with a bit less cushion. One man's opinion, because glove sizing and preference is unique to every rider.
