GiroNew Road Merino Seasonal Wool Socks
Item # GIR001IPast Season Colors
Fine merino.
As the name implies, Giro's Merino Seasonal Wool Socks were constructed using a blend of smooth "seasonal weight" wool. The merino wool in the makeup helps the socks breathe, wick moisture, and resist the buildup of odors, while also providing medium-weight insulation for cool-weather conditions.
Every pair of the Merino Seasonals are made in Italy, and the 6in cuffs provide plenty of coverage for both road and mountain riding.
The Giro Merino Seasonal Wool Socks are available in sizes Small to X-Large and in the colors White Dots, Grey/red/black, Charcoal/black modern, Camo/glowing red, Black/white stripe, and Black/charcoal clean.

Terrible sock. Inside looks like it wasn't finished. A scraggly thread. Could hardly put on!!

Not just the title of an old MTV cartoon. The Merino is low quality and coarse. Soles are thin. And that's just place where you want padding. Far inferior to the Castelli Quindici which have been my go to. That's what I get for trying to save $5 a pair. Worse, I bought 2 pair of these in black/charcoal and 2 in red. I'm still waiting for the second pair of red to arrive.

right out of the package I could tell these socks where QUALITY. they felt great, nice and thick, but not too thick, good weaving for long lasting socks. these socks are great for any ride, warm days, but not hot days and even some cooler day rides they're great. very comfy hug your feet nice and sung. the first wear was a bit too snug, but they break in. PS do not dry these socks in the dryer! they will shrink ;)

These are a great three season wool sock, definitely not warm enough for winter riding. They wick way better than I expected them to, and I used them in warm summer days here in Utah without feeling like my feet were sweating excessively.

Yes to merino

Merino wool is perfect for spring, summer, and fall. These socks will not be thick enough for cold winter days. The wild lime is perfect for catching drivers attention. Merino will also keep them from getting too smelly, but don't push it by not washing them after exercise.

I love the color in this (matches my bike! - WIld Lime). Additionally the fabric is crazy fresh, which makes it easy to cycle in Costa Rican weather. As always Giro brings great quality and a good price!

Merino Awesomeness

I love Merino socks, and they aren't just for super cold riding, these are pretty thin and I would not hesitate to ride them on 90 degree days. The socks are built nicely and last. Merino wool doesn't retain odors like some synthetic options either, which is a huge plus for your loved ones. These are a great height too. Buy them to boost your sock game. I typically wear size nine which I have found in the vast majority of brands works out to be a size 43. I tried a 42.5 Giro and it was too short, but according to Giro I should be a 42 which is just not accurate. I found that the Medium is perfect for my size 9 feet.

This is a nice lightweight merino sock that insulates well in cool-to-warm conditions. There's no padding in the toe or heel, so they work well with snug-fitting shoes. The tall cuff supports my calves well with just the perfect amount of compression. The socks also hold up well in the wash if you use cold water and dry on low heat (or air dry on a hanger). For size reference, my feet are 42-42.5 EU/ 8.5-9 US and the mediums fit perfectly.

Why is the charcoal/white dots so tall compared to the others?

Hello Mr. Singer, Looks like we have the wrong product image up for the Charcoal/White dots. All of these socks come in the 6in height.
