The Float 36 29in Factory Grip X2 Fork takes FOX’s signature all-mountain chassis and fine-tunes it for riders who prioritize downhill traction and tunability above all else. Now refined for MY26, the 36 introduces a suite of updates: a generatively-designed arch for 20% greater torsional stiffness, 30mm more bushing overlap for friction reduction under lateral loads, and the Glidecore-enhanced FLOAT EVOL air spring that self-aligns under compression to smooth out chatter and maintain traction.

The GRIP X2 damper is FOX’s most adjustable platform, offering four-way independent tuning: high- and low-speed compression and rebound. It provides gravity-ready damping with impressive midstroke support, making this fork ideal for riders who thrive on dialing performance to match terrain. The damper-side stanchion is now double-butted for weight savings without compromising stiffness, and FOX’s updated air cap design makes volume tuning easier using a standard cassette tool.
