The Float 36 29in Factory Grip X Fork is FOX’s answer to riders who demand both precision and forgiveness in fast, technical terrain. Its latest iteration features a stiffer chassis thanks to a generative arch redesign and 30mm more bushing overlap, offering sharper handling with less flex when pushed hard through corners or compressions.

At the heart is FOX’s Glidecore-equipped FLOAT EVOL air spring, which reduces friction by adapting under dynamic loads, keeping the fork supple and supportive even deep into travel. Lower leg bypass channels have been repositioned for better performance under bending forces, and a double-butted damper-side stanchion trims weight while improving responsiveness.

The GRIP X damper is tuned for trail and all-mountain riding, offering external adjustability for high- and low-speed compression and rebound, plus a firm mode that’s perfect for long climbs or sprinting. With compatibility for 200–230mm rotors, a floating Kabolt-X axle for increased stiffness, and sleek Kashima-coated stanchions, this fork is made to match the evolution of today’s fastest mid-travel bikes.
