The FIDLOCK TWIST ecosystem is built around proprietary bottles, but the TWIST Universal Connector and Universal Base exists specifically for riders who want the magnetic-mechanical mounting performance of TWIST without being limited to a single bottle format. By integrating the Boa® Fit System into the connector design, it delivers a micro-adjustable wrap that cinches precisely around any cylindrical item up to 80mm in diameter, from standard water bottles and insulated flasks to soft flasks, nutrition containers, and compact trail speakers. The Boa dial allows incremental tension adjustment that a fixed strap or zip tie simply cannot replicate, and the anti-slip inlay at the contact surface prevents rotation or slippage under load regardless of surface material or texture.

The TWIST Universal Base handles the frame side of the equation with equal flexibility, using wide TPU cable ties to mount securely to any tube diameter between 28 and 62mm. That range covers the full spectrum of road, gravel, and mountain bike tube geometries including oversized down tubes, seat tubes, and top tubes where a standard braze-on mount would not be available or practical. No permanent modification to the frame is required, and the base maintains full compatibility with every bottle in the native TWIST lineup alongside anything carried in the Universal Connector.
