Trail running, fastpacking, ski touring, and multi-sport missions all demand accessible hydration on shoulder straps, hip belts, and harness systems where a bike-specific base has no place, and the Tex Base Multi addresses each of those mounting contexts in a single versatile platform.

The updated two-in-one attachment system is the defining feature of this base generation. Vertical straps, including running vest shoulder straps and pack sternum straps, accept the base via a rubber ring that holds firmly without stitching, hardware, or permanent modification to the gear. Horizontal straps use the established dual plate and magnetic screw head method, inserting the strap between two plates and securing it with magnetic fasteners for a hold strong enough to handle the dynamic loading of running and scrambling. Both attachment methods are compatible with MOLLE systems and standard hip belt configurations, making the Tex Base Multi genuinely universal across a full outdoor kit.

The 450ml bottle itself uses softened BPA-free polyethylene that compresses easily under one-handed squeezing during high-output efforts, and the redesigned self-sealing membrane cap delivers a high flow rate without requiring the rider or runner to manipulate the valve manually before or after drinking. The removable dirt cap protects the mouthpiece during dusty or muddy conditions where an exposed valve would collect debris between uses.
