ENVEM6 Handlebar
Item # ENV005V
M6 Handlebar
When it came time to redesign its mountain handlebar
offerings, ENVE Composites chose to build and categorize its bars much like it
does with its wheelsets. Riders have different wants and needs depending on
bike setup, riding style, aspirations, and terrain. From the rail-thin,
hardtail riding, flat bar XC racer to the big hit World Cup, dual crown,
high-rise set, ENVE has a bar for every occasion designed with the utmost
durability, lightweight construction, and ride tuned feel for every occasion.
The handlebar we have here, the M6, achieves the nexus that the modern trail
rider is after.
The M6 falls under ENVE's trail-rated lineup and places an emphasis on dropping grams and features a carbon laminate that helps to minimize the trail chatter that can start to accumulate on those 4+ hour backwoods epics. As you probably imagined, the M6 is recommended to pair with the M6 stem and wheelset which are all suited for 100-140mm trail bikes. Two rise options are available so you can achieve your desired ride position: a lower 7.5mm and a mid-rise 25mm version. Both bars come in at 780mm wide and feature a tried-and-true 9-degrees of backsweep and 5-degrees of upsweep and a 31.8mm clamp, helping to preserve a compliant ride with a responsive flex profile and keeps the weight low.
All of the bars are developed by riders and racers and the feedback from internal testers and world-class athletes hone the bars' every detail. In fact, so important is the ride feel that ENVE instills in each and every bar, it's reduced the amount of recommended cut lengths so the bars ride at its intended flex profile while still passing strength and stiffness requirements with flying colors without having to overbuild the bars to satisfy a wider range of cuts.
- A lightweight trail bar designed for comfort and confidence
- Sweep angles offer neutral wrist positioning
- 780mm width provides leverage with room on tight trails
- 31.8mm clamp balances weight, strength, and ride quality
- Lifetime incident protection covers mishaps on or off the bike

What can I say, its enve. By far, the best looking carbon bar IMO. I've had many and these are my favorite. I cut them to 760 and the feeling is phenomenal. I also paired them with the enve stem. You get what you pay for.. BTW I'm a sucker for matching my bike colors. With the included decals you can match these bars to most bikes.

Put these on my wife's Yeti. They look great and she likes the feel of them much better than her old aluminum bars. Quality is very nice and I would definitely recommend.

Hot Fire
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I just installed these on my trail bike and broke them in over 2 days of hard riding in Moab. The combination of strength, weight and shape is perfect for me. Pair it with the M6 stem for a super-light but sturdy cockpit.

Hits the Right Balance
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This bar hits the perfect balance between flexible enough to battle vibrations and keep your arms alive on long rides, and maintaining the stiffness necessary to ride precisely and aggressively. ENVE is definitely not the cheapest option, but when it comes to a bar, I'd without a doubt invest in the best again. No issues over a few thousand Wasatch miles to report.

Marginally more expensive than other options but much better. Comes with a bunch of fun different color stickers.

It's Art For a Bike
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
ENVE may cost more, but you are paying for a work of art. Their handlebars are actually pretty competitively-priced, so why not go ENVE??

Nobody does it better!
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
The bar has great flex to absorb chatter but stiff enough to still have great steering feedback. This bar paired with the M6 Mountain Stem is much lighter, more responsive and has greater dampening capabilities than any stock setup. It is a very noticeable difference. The rise and sweep give the user many configuration options for their cockpit setup. Perfect for trail setup. Luv the extra decals to match your ride.

The Real Deal
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Enve is known for making top of the line, no compromise carbon products and these bars are no exception. They test out hundreds of different carbon layouts using their pro riders so you know that you're getting the best. They are the perfect blend between stiff and compliant so that you can abuse them through rock gardens and keep your hands feeling fresh. A bit pricey but it's the price you pay for perfection.

This is an amazing handlebar. Extremely light, stiff, and irons out the rattle of the trail. Integrates perfectly with the m6 stem. Love it.

Can't Go Wrong

Amazing stuff here. Considering it was Enve I already had pretty high expectations, but they managed to still blow me away with these. Super light, super slick, and super strong. If you're looking for a new bar this is probably my number one recommendation. Number two is Whiskey Street.

The New RSR Bar
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is essentially an updated version of the venerable RSR bar. It gets a little wider at 780 and now comes in two different rises. It stays in 31.8, if you're looking for a 35mm clamp you can go to their new M7 bar. Per Enve's usual, this bar is ride tuned to be stiff but ride really nicely at the same time. I've tried some other bars on the market that were just as light but rode insanely stiff... definitely something you can feel after 3-4 hours in the saddle. All things considered, this is one of the easiest upgrades you can make to your bike.

The Only Bar I Like More is a Candy Bar
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've had a lot of bars over the years. I've had other Enve bars. But this new M6 hit the sweet spot for me; enough rise, not too much, perfect width, great backsweep. I've been riding it since May, and it has become my favorite bar. I rode it it a 6 hour race, and noticed less fatigue than previous bars I was running. Strong and light, but not necessarily cheap, it still represents a great value in my book.

Hi Kevin, that's right, all mountain bars have a 22.2 diameter at the grips and brake clamp area.
