At 640 grams, the 52mm Hex Carapace is engineered to absorb punishment across long days rather than simply survive them.

The hexagonal tread architecture drives the tire's performance story. Independent, decoupled tread blocks allow the casing to flex and conform to whatever surface sits beneath the contact patch, maximizing grip without forcing the rider to choose between traction and rolling efficiency. The three-way flex pattern built into each hexagonal block adds suppleness to the casing as a whole, while progressive tread spacing evacuates debris consistently through corners and under braking. The cat tongue tread feature adds texture that improves both forward drive and stopping power, and the 52mm specific scaled tread pattern ensures the tire is tuned for its actual footprint rather than adapted from a narrower design.

Protection is addressed at every layer. Kevlar Full Protection runs across the tread and down both sidewalls, while an anti-pinch bumper and extended chafer strip at the bead defend the most stress-loaded zone of the tubeless interface.
