right size

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

small, light, perfect for the minimalist/weight weenie.

Great Tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This tool works. It is small, light and durable.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got this tool last week for my commuter bike and literally 24 hrs later it saved my "a**"... the bolt on my seat post became loose at about 1/3 way home. (about 8 miles left.) i thought i was going to be able to tough it out but the position of the seat was literally goin' up my a**.

I remembered I had this tool in my converted waterbottle tool kit and pulled over. literally within 5 mins I had my seat back to normal and was able to ride home!

this tool is very useful and compact, it's got all the items you need. nothing to think about, just get it!

Awesome little guy!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

great tool, super light, always in my pack.

Keep it in my Car

I keep this in my car just in case I ever forget to pack my other multi tool. Haven't had to use it yet but it looks good and it's made well.

    Nice tool

I like this guy, it has pretty much every tool needed for run-of-the-mill roadside repairs (assuming you don't have flathead screws anywhere), plus a 3mm hex that I've never used (maybe mountain bikes use 3mm bolts somewhere? Or some brands of cleats? All I know is there is nary a 3mm bolt on any of my bikes). It's light but has a large enough frame to give you good leverage, and the tools are all of reasonable enough length to actually be useful and are nicely forged (i.e. they actually fit the bolts they are supposed to). I wish it were stainless or chromed, because after about a year of being sweated and rained on, there is some surface corrosion on the tools. Nothing steel wool won't fix, though. Swap that useless 3mm hex for a spoke wrench and smack some chrome on it and this would get five stars. It's still my go-to road tool, though.

      Multi 5 Tool

This tool is really nice and great for the price. I was looking for something light I could throw in my camelbak and use when issues come along on the trail and this fits the bill. It is only 39g (1.4oz) heavier than the Lezyne CF multi 5 tool and costs $67 less... My only complaint is that the smallest hex did not fit the bolts in my hand grips by a hair but I suppose I could be the one to blame for not buying a tool with more sizes. Good buy!

        Nice Tool

Liteweight, compact and contains all the popular allen wrench sizes. The only complaint is that it only contains a phillips driver and does not include a flat head driver.

          Good to have

Compact & lightweight, I love having this tool along with me. Being something so simple, their really isn't much to rave about, but it really does work well. A lot of multi-tools I have used in the past try to do too much, making the tools hard to use and taking away from their basic utility. Not the case with the Multi 5, the tools work great and are all you need for a quick fix.

            Not too shabby.

This multi tool does the job just fine. It is easy to carry, stays in my pack all of the time, and would fit easily in a below the seat bag. I recommend it for it's simplicity and utility.
