Adding this service pairs a RideWrap protection kit with a professional mechanic install, cut and matched to the frame finish and to the specific frame and fork on file for the build. A Gearhead® mechanic cleans and preps the frame, then applies the film piece by piece before the bike leaves the shop. The film's hydrophobic surface keeps grime from bonding to the frame between washes. Its top layer can also smooth out light scuffs with ambient heat, rather than marking the paint underneath. RideWrap backs the kit with a 10-year warranty against yellowing and cracking, so the frame holds its finish over the life of the build.
