New West Jersey
We don't always want to resort to a roadie team kit or glorified moto-pajamas for every ride. Weekend cook-outs, bar crawls, and daily commutes don't need that kind of flash, and the Club Ride Apparel New West Short Sleeve Jersey is ideally suited for those more casual outings where the bike isn't the primary focus. It's styled after classic western shirts but constructed with technical fabrics that make it a pleasure to ride in without awkwardly standing out when you've reached your destination and rejoined the pedestrian population.
Like the rest of Club Ride's "jerseys," the New West is cut to emulate casual clothing. In fact, it fits more like a proper shirt than a jersey, making it perfectly acceptable for a night out on the town. Beneath its casual fade, the New West hides a lightweight synthetic material that emphasizes saddle-worthy qualities like wicking moisture and drying quickly. The body fabric is also plenty breathable, but summer rides can be sweaty affairs, regardless of exertion levels, and Club Ride adds strategic venting to further enhance breathability and help ensure you aren't the damp, clammy guy queueing up for potato salad or another round.

I've been riding in Club Ride jerseys for the past 8yrs or so. The New West Jersey is pretty much my go to for trail rides whether its a chill lap with my kids, hunting PR's on trail rides, or hitting some lift serve flow trails. They always look good, the fit is what I would call "tailored". Not baggy, but not racer tight and with a great amount of stretch. They breathe really well and they are quick to dry without holding on to any funk. The rear pocket is nice if you're just needing some extra space for a driver's license and credit card for hitting brewery post ride, but I tend to not load it up with too much more or it gets a bit heavy and unbalanced. These work great too if you wear them to the office with the plan of an end of the day ride. Love these jerseys!

perfect liner shorts

i mtn bike about twice a week for 2-3 hours. my butt was getting sore because all my very old chamois had no padding left. My butt is happy again; these offer ample padding. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice, thin, stretchy, comfortable material of the main shorts; way nicer than the standard thicker Lycra. And they are opaque so can be worn without overshorts if needed.

Nice shorties

I love love love the montcham shorts but my size was sold out so I got the drift shorts too. As the other review mentioned they are a ?2hr? short but I?ve worn them for longer rides and I do notice a little discomfort over the montcham shorts but only slightly. The drift shorts are pretty darn comfy and the price is superb. Breathable, good cut, doesn?t roll up and they are comfy. The waistband is comfy too. Good buy.
