Castelli built this jacket from a microfiber 20 denier nylon fabric that is essentially windproof while still delivering engineered Ristretto-level air permeability, avoiding the trapped heat common in fully sealed wind layers. An ergonomic cut provides a perfect fit without restricting the range of motion needed through varied riding positions.

A high collar keeps drafts out at the neck, while a top- and bottom-opening asymmetrical zip with a branded Castelli scorpion puller allows fast venting control as effort shifts through a ride. Elasticated cuffs and waist maintain a clean silhouette and secure fit, and a reflective Castelli wordmark and scorpion logo on the back add low-light visibility.
