Ergo Control Bar Ends

For those that have been riding bikes for a number of years, you'll remember a time when every serious cross-country racer sported barends. If you recall such a time, you'll instantly recognize the Ergo Control Bar Ends from Cane Creek. After it disappeared from the company's lineup, it received email after email from customers begging for its return, and Cane Creek decided the time was right to bring them back. What makes these bar ends unique to the others, and having riders prompt for its return, is its refined ergonomic shape offering a comfortable position right on top of the bars, not far out in front like almost every other design. Additionally, it's shape is lower profile so it's less likely to snag trees and bushes and the durable rubber finish is grippy with or without gloves on. The universal lock-on compatible clamp gives it a secure hold on the ends of any handlebar with a 7/8-inch (22.2mm) diameter at the grip area and if you're an e-bike rider, commuter, or mountain biker looking for more hand positions over longer rides and a little more leverage while climbing, pick up a set, you won't be disappointed.

  • Ergonomic bar end offering more hand positions
  • Compatible with lock-on grips and any 7/8in handlebar end
  • Soft, grippy rubber cover offers control and comfort
  • Unique design puts your weight on the bar, not way out front

Are the bar ends compatable with carbon bars? I have S-Works DH carbon bars

fantastic bar ends

I've used it several times

I use flat bars on my single-speed bike I ride around the city, but wanted more options for hand placement. I recently decided to give these a try as they looked nice. I'm really glad I decided to try them. Unlike the old-school mtb bike bar ends, these don't stick way out in front of your bars. Also, the rubber is comfortable and grippy. I'm not sure how Cane Creek managed to do it, but the shape fits the hands quite well. These are very easy to install. They also look quite nice with my ESI Chunky grips. Packaging is minimal, but I wasn't left wishing they included anything, so all good. I want these for all my bikes now.
