How The Lottery Works

  1. A strictly limited allocation: We’re receiving three bikes in three sizes — 51.1 cm, 53 cm, and 57.5 cm. Because supply is extremely limited, we’re running a lottery for the opportunity to purchase each one.
  2. Submit your name: Enter for any size you’d be interested in buying. You can enter multiple size lotteries — one entry per size, per person.
  3. A winner is drawn at random: Once a bike arrives at our warehouse, we close the lottery for that size and draw a winner at random.
  4. You have one week to decide: The selected winner is notified by email and has seven days to decide whether to purchase the bike. If they pass, we move to the next name in the draw.
  5. A Gearhead walks you through checkout: If you choose to purchase, you’ll be connected with a Backcountry Gearhead to process this exclusive transaction — and to arrange the inclusion of your Tissot Pinarello automatic.
