The All-New Áspero-5

The original Áspero was Cervélo’s race-focused response to long-wheelbase, marinate-in-the-experience gravel bikes. It was so ardent in its efforts to be fast, nimble, and aerodynamic, it couldn’t even spare real estate for a single fender mount. Yet, Cervélo believes faster is better—who are we to argue that—and testament to that is their new top-flight Áspero-5. It’s the unabridged version, replete with racer-benefits like a light frame and tucked-in cable housing. Now the gravel racer can go flat-out ... even faster.

Builds & Details

Three, ready-to-race, complete builds are available for the Áspero-5. Choose one of SRAM’s power meter-equipped, AXS® 1x options, or Shimano’s GRX Di2 2x drivetrain, and roll quickly with Reserve’s 32mm carbon wheels on DT Swiss hubs. A frameset option also lets you build out your ideal machine.The gravel speedster still clears 700c x 42mm tires, and thanks to its adjustable trail fork design, you can run beefy, face-of-the-moon-ready 49mm tires on 650b wheels.
