Vented hip pads keep air moving in the Assos TACTICA HP Shorts Liner
The Assos TACTICA HP Shorts Liner uses a 9mm off-road insert with 3D Waffle foam, a perforated three-layer design that adds breathability and absorbs shock. The goldenGate 2.0 attachment fixes the insert at the front and rear and leaves the sides and center floating, with cut-outs that cut volume and friction through the pedal stroke. Two removable 7mm hip pads add protection with cooling airflow, and the mesh textile is too light to wear without an over short.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“On hot, high-effort days, the airflow channels in the hip pads kept air moving across my sides. The protection stayed in the background for the whole ride.”
