The EQUIPE RS Thermo Rain Jacket S11 runs Nimbus, a 3-layer softshell at 260 g/m² with a PU membrane, rated past a 25,000mm water column and 29,900 g/m²/24h for breathability. Those two figures together are the actual engineering tradeoff this jacket resolves, since most waterproof ratings that high come at the cost of venting internal heat. Four-way stretch keeps the construction moving through a hard effort, and a double-slider zipper handles both top-down ventilation and pocket access from the same mechanism.
