Beach racing places extreme demands on drivetrains, and the Beach Racing Oval Chainring SRAM 0mm is engineered specifically for that challenge. We rely on the 42T version in environments where fine sand, salt, and constant resistance changes punish traditional setups. The oval shape helps maintain momentum by smoothing torque delivery as the surface transitions from firm to soft within a single lap.

The chainring features a fixed 10.5 percent ovality with timing positioned just after top dead center, extending the effective power phase and reducing peak load during each pedal stroke. CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with durable anodizing, it offers excellent resistance to abrasion while maintaining stiffness under sustained load. This balance is critical in beach racing, where drivetrain drag and rider fatigue accumulate rapidly.

Designed for SRAM three-bolt direct mount cranksets with a 0mm offset, the chainring integrates cleanly into focused 1x beach racing builds without adapters or spacers. It is compatible with standard multi-speed chains excluding Shimano HG+ and SRAM Flat Top. This chainring is best suited for competitive beach racers who want smoother power delivery, long-term durability, and consistent performance in some of the harshest riding conditions imaginable.
