Yeti MT Turq frame runs Sixfinity suspension on TURQ carbon

The Yeti MT Turq frame swaps Switch Infinity for Sixfinity, the six-bar suspension platform retiring the SB130 and SB140 across the line. Three flip-chip leverage settings at the shock mount adjust progressivity independent of geometry, anti-squat, and anti-rise, while switch-link kinematics are tuned per frame size rather than scaled from one master shape. UDH compatibility and 148 x 12mm Boost spacing put the groupset decision entirely in the builder's hands, on a TURQ Series carbon layup reinforced with Vectran.

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"UDH and 148 x 12mm Boost spacing mean nothing about this build is proprietary. I mixed a mechanical derailleur with a wireless dropper and it all just worked."

Details

  • Frameset built for a custom trail build around Sixfinity suspension
  • Sixfinity suspension — anti-squat behavior tuned per frame size, not scaled
  • Flip chip — three leverage curves without moving geometry
  • TURQ Series carbon — Vectran layup adds impact strength, not just less weight
  • UDH and 148 x 12mm Boost spacing — open to any compatible drivetrain
  • The Cavity frame storage — carry tools and a layer without a pack
  • Configurable cable ports — routing options without proprietary hardware

Inside The Yeti MT

Sixfinity Suspension

Sixfinity's six bars control anti-squat, anti-rise, and leverage rate independently instead of linking them together. That means confident traction when you're pedaling hard and full control when you're on the brakes.

Tunable Leverage Rate

Sixfinity's leverage rate adjusts to 10%, 15%, or 20% with the flip of a chip. That means you tune the ride feel to the day, instead of settling for one compromise setting.

Sized, Not Scaled

Each MT size gets its own geometry, kinematics, and chainstay length, not a scaled-down frame. That means a Small rides balanced instead of feeling shrunken, with the same head angle as every other size.

TURQ Carbon

The MT ships only in TURQ carbon, Yeti's lightest and top-tier layup, reinforced with Vectran for extra impact strength. That means a frame that resists fatigue and impact while staying stiff enough for precise, responsive handling.

Built With Purpose

The Cavity

A roller-cam latch opens a downtube compartment, keeping tools and extra layers out of your pockets and off your back.

Quiet By Design

Cables run through molded carbon guide tubes, and a redesigned chain-slap silencer keeps the ride quiet.

Stealth Security

AirTag and Tile mounts sit below the frame storage, adding a hidden layer of security if your MT ever goes missing.

Accessory Mount

A top-tube accessory mount carries extras directly on the frame, no external straps required.

Hand Built, Race Bred Since 1985

Since the early days of mountain biking, racing has shaped every Yeti frame and innovation. Yeti continues to honor those roots, building bikes it wants to ride: fast, capable, and made for riders who live to push limits.
