Sizing a new chain correctly is a precision job, and the Chain Breaker Tool is built to handle it without guesswork. The adjusting bolt secures the tool against the chain's side plate, while the pin pusher arm drives the pin out with controlled, incremental turns, making it possible to stop short of the outer plate when a chain needs to be reused rather than replaced.

Compatibility spans single-speed and multi-speed chains, which means the same tool works across a road setup, a mountain bike drivetrain, or a commuter build without needing a second tool for a different chain pitch.
