The Topeak TetraRack M2L was designed for exactly that context, mounting to the seatstays of full suspension and hardtail frames without eyelets via a hook and loop strap system that fits seatstay widths between 95 and 125mm. With a mounting length of 200mm and padded strap feet that protect the frame finish, it installs without drilling and holds its position through the kind of technical riding that would shake a lesser rack loose by lunchtime. The system is not recommended for carbon frames or V-brake-equipped bikes, but on alloy and steel builds, it is as solid as anything bolted directly to the frame.
