Bought this less than one year ago and it failed to inflate at all a few weeks ago. Obviously some mechanical defect so I jettisoned it. Had a Joe Blow previously that lasted for many years without any problems and my son is still using it.

a good choice for a quality pump

I've put it through the wringer

I recently picked up a Sport 3, as the head on my original Joe Blow Sport failed (after many years use). I've used the Sport 3 for a few months now....solely Presta Valve usage for my road bike about 3-5 times weekly. The head has been easy to attach and reliable. I like that the gauge is larger and easier to read than the original. I would estimate about 20-25 pumps to fully inflate a 700x25c road tire. It is a simple, straightforward pump that is reliable and easy to use. If I had to find a flaw, I would say that the hose could be a bit longer. A longer hose and I would have given 5 stars. FYI, Topeak does offer "kits" with longer hoses and/or different/replacement heads for <$25.
