The Specialized Thorn-Resistant Schrader Valve Tube is built to reduce flats in exactly those conditions, giving riders a more dependable setup for everyday riding and off-road exploration.

The tube uses a dual-thickness construction that targets protection where it matters most. The outer wall, which sits against the tire casing, is reinforced with thicker rubber to resist punctures from thorns, small stones, and road debris. On the rim-facing side, the rubber is intentionally thinner to help control overall weight and maintain a smoother ride feel compared to traditional heavy-duty tubes.
