We build downhill cockpits for maximum precision and reliability, and the Atlas 35 Direct Mount Stem from Race Face is designed to deliver exactly that. By eliminating the traditional steerer clamp and mounting directly to the fork crown, it creates a more rigid interface that improves steering accuracy when speeds climb and terrain gets rough.

The stem is machined from 2014 aluminum, offering a strong, lightweight platform that resists flex under heavy loads. Its 35mm handlebar clamp supports modern oversized bars for increased front-end stiffness, while the single-bolt faceplate keeps the system secure with a simplified design. The two-piece construction allows for fine-tuning of bar position, giving us control over cockpit setup without complicating installation. It’s compatible with common dual crown forks like FOX 40 and RockShox BoXXer, making it a reliable choice for gravity-focused builds.
