Confidence and agility with Trailcat SL, combining 120mm dw-link suspension and Fox 34 fork
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Trailcat SL feels like two bikes in one. It pedals like a lightweight XC bike thanks to its 120mm dw-link suspension, but the 140mm Fox 34 fork and aggressive Maxxis tires give it real trail chops. I especially love the built-in Toolshed™ storage—it keeps my rides pack-free and organized."
The Trailcat SL brings together a rare balance of climbing efficiency and trail capability. At its core is Pivot’s Hollow Core Carbon frame paired with dw-link suspension, delivering 120mm of rear travel that maximizes pedaling efficiency while maintaining traction on steep, technical climbs. This platform makes the bike equally adept at covering big miles as it is tackling punchy ascents.
A Fox Performance 34 fork with 140mm travel leads the charge, offering smooth compliance and precise handling on rugged terrain. SRAM’s Eagle Transmission drivetrain provides a broad 10–52t cassette range, ensuring the right gear is always within reach. Paired with a DT Swiss M1900 wheelset, the bike rolls fast and holds lines confidently across diverse terrain. Maxxis Minion DHRII and Dissector tires strike a balance between cornering traction and rolling efficiency, while SRAM DB8 Stealth 4-piston brakes deliver consistent power on descents.
Beyond its performance, the Trailcat SL is designed for practical versatility. The integrated Toolshed™ storage system allows us to carry essentials inside the frame, while Tool Dock compatibility expands on-bike storage options. Flip chip geometry adjustment offers customization between a stable, planted feel or a more agile ride character. The result is a bike tuned for riders who want one machine to handle everything—from long backcountry epics to technical local loops—with confidence and efficiency.
Heads up — We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you’ll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
