Park Tools #1 tools, quality product and will last a life time. If you are a wrench turner like myself. On par with Craftsman or Snap-On

chain breaker

this is a must have on longer rides in case your chain breaks and it works just as well in the shop at home. It's lightweight and super compact to fit in your bag and it does exactly what I needed.

Tool for multiple chains
This chain breaker is bigger than you might want for your saddle bag but just right for the home mechanic's bench. Does that job well and easier to use than the small one you might carry in a saddle bag.

Will this tool work with the hollow pin on the Shimano XTR/Dura-Ace CN-HG901 11-Speed Chain ?

Slender size, robust construction
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I purchased this tool to keep in my toolbox as I have a chain tool on my multitool for when I'm stuck on the side of the trail. Without a doubt this tool would certainly be trail worthy with it's rugged construction in a small package. While I haven't busted a pin, it's nice to know that replacements are available just in case.

You need a trail chainbreaker

- I've used it several times
What good is a spare link on the trail if you cant pull off the broken one? grab this mini chainbreaker. It's small enough to pack around but burley enough to get enough torque to pop out and chain pins. definitely the way to go.

Works!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is a nice little tool to keep in your bag for those just in case scenarios . Chains break and sometimes you are a long ways from the car. This works great to get it back together and get you home. Also works just as well at the work bench putting the new one on. This is the only one I've ever owned so I'm sure there is something out there that cost more that makes it easier but this gets the job done so there has been no need to look.

Not bad

Not a bad chain tool, but if you have a multi-tool with a chain tool, it'll do just fine. I prefer the Ct-3 which has replaceable pins for shop use , but this works fine and is half the cost. Don't expect life everlasting though.

Great, inexpensive option
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is a great alternative to the pro level chain tool, its light enough to fit in your pack if you don't have a multi-tool with a chain breaker, but also handles home shop duties with ease.

A most tool under the saddle.

You don't know when you're going to need one of these. Before this one I had a cheaper one and I beat the hell out of that. Now I decided to buy a new one and spend the money on a better quality tool. The quality is superb, it is a Park, what you expect. This is a most tool for any cyclist, believe me.

Throw one in your saddle bag
There are only a few specialized tools you need for bike repairs. This is one of them. Get one for each of your saddle bags and you'll have the reassurance of always being prepared.

Get it!
Tired of the junky chain tools that bend after using them twice, making it impossible to use? Buy this one and put those troubles behind you. Nice burly pin that wont bend and plenty compact to travel with you.
