Independent CE testing certifies the Leatt Body Protector 6.5 at Level 2 for chest and back impact and Level 1 for elbow and shoulder, spread across a two-piece system that separates a compression base layer from a removable hard-shell over-layer. Hard flank panels and a multi-plate articulating design carry that protection through rib and side impacts without locking up movement. The compression layer's built-in elbow and shoulder padding lets the hard shell focus on chest, back, and flank coverage.
