OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

2. SPONSOR: Backcountry.com, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) with its principal place of business at 2855 East Cottonwood Parkway, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84121

3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States who are over the age of 18 as of the date of entry, and it is void where prohibited by law. Employees and their immediate family and household members of Sponsor or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or suppliers are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

4. SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: Entries will be accepted starting on July 17th, 2026 at 12:00 AM EDT and ending August 7th, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the Sweepstakes entry period in its sole discretion.

5. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete Competitive Cyclist's Reach the Summit Strava Challenge: by logging 300 miles of biking activity in the Strava app, then complete the form available upon challenge completion. You'll receive one (1) entry per person. Incomplete entries or those that violate the rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Multiple entries through different emails, devices, or identities are not allowed.

6. PRIZE: Fifty (50) individual Summit Club + Members (the “Winners”) will be randomly selected. The Winners will receive a $50 credit into their Competitive Cyclist account via the email attached to their membership for $50. If that person is not a Summit Club+ member, they will receive a code to redeem a free Summit Club+ Membership for 1 year ($49 value).

7. ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Sponsor. Winner will be notified by email within ten (10) days following the end of the Sweepstakes and selection of Winner. Sponsor shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within fourteen (14) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. 

9. TERMS & CONDITIONS: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions and Official Rules. Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by the Sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation force majeure events, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received (if any) prior to the event that resulted in the cancellation, termination, modification or suspension.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors, and Instagram from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.

11. DISPUTES: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Delaware having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

14. AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Sweepstakes.
