Simply the best

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

For years, I used a sub-par store brand repair stand. In my view, my stand simply needed to hold a bike, and as long as it did that half-decently, I was all set. When I finally decided to upgrade to Feedback's offering, it was a game-changer. The stability of the stand alone was enough to win me over, but when you add the quick release mechanisim, and flawless construction, it's 10/10 piece. Full marks for Feedback in my book! Feel free to reach out to me directly at jdraper@backcountry.com if you have any questions. Thanks!

the ideal compact work stand

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I really like this stand, it is super light to toss in your car and take to events, it is nice and stable for everything from 15lb road bikes to 35lb mountain bikes. This wouldn't be my go to setup if I was constantly loading up DH bikes that are on the hefty side but that is just me. If I had a dedicated work space and never needed to fold up the stand then I would go for a more permanent option, however I do not have that luxury so this is ideal. I love the clamping head and the quick release button, it is perfect for quick tunes. I had a basic park stand before this and it was ok, but the clamp system was less than ideal and as a result, sometimes I would hesitate to use it. The new park clamp is better, but if you are doing multiple bikes with multiple diameter posts, this stands clamping mechanism is tough to beat. I docked one star because when you do load up an abnormally heavy bike it tends to flex a little, still works, but you can tell it isn't ideal. For my own use though, it is pretty much perfect.

This has the better clamp!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I had the the Ultralight stand which I really liked for it's compactness and being slightly lighter weight than the Pro Elite, but the clam was not intuitive and very annoying. I upgraded to the Pro Elite and I'm very glad I did! The clamp on the Pro Elite is much easier to use because of the big button to slide the jaws open as opposed to the quarter turn and hoping you got it right on the Ultralight clamp. This is definitely worth the extra money!

This is the ONE!

There is only 1 home bike stand to get and it is this one. The ease of maneuverability and the opening and closing of the clamp is fantastic.

Awesome stand

Great bike stand, does everything you could ask. I was impressed with how heavy duty the tubes are, with plenty of heft without being unnecessarily heavy. It is also very easy to adjust, the release is great and very smooth, and the whole thing is collapsable — yet completely sturdy while holding your bike. I would recommend over other stands.

Great tool; great value.

I was concerned when looking for a home bike stand to keep the cost down but get sufficient quality. This model is heavy duty, easy to use and adjust, and well made. The quick release works perfectly as do the clamp and adjust mechanisms. Great tool; great value.

Great Bike Stand!

Never having owned a bike stand, might make anything seem magical at this point. However, the ease, adjustability, and even storability have changed how we work/clean our bikes now. I had read several reviews and am glad that I went with this guy!

Very pleased with this stand

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

After my wife broke my 15 year old stand by using it all summer as an accessory to her sprinkler system for the garden, I opted for the pro-elite bike stand. I was initially leaning towards the Park Tool stand at a similar price point, but found the Park Tool Stands are too heavy to carry around and move. I have a bad back (herniated disc) and the 25 lb Park Tool stand was too heavy for me to be lugging around. I am very pleased with the weight/lightness of the pro-elite stand as well as how easily it folds up and opens up. I'm 6'4" and this stand really allows me to set my bike up in the clamp quite high to work on! I also find the stand is very stable with by assortment of mtn/road/commuter bikes on it. I did not get the stand to tip over even though I was applying a lot of torque and pressure to the bikes. The clamp has a lot of adjustability and I don't see any risk of damaging my carbon seat posts. This stand really makes my bikes a pleasure to work on and I highly recommend it. The minimal weight makes it effortless for me to carry the stand out of my garage into the driveway and not worry about hurting my back. Great product!

A Stand Up Stand

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This bike stand is amazing. Super solid. Easy to adjust. Takes less than a minute to set up or take down. Makes working on bikes so much easier. The ratcheting head makes it easy to clamp the bike with one hand. I love how easy and compact it folds down. Makes it easy to take in the car or just leave it folded up in the garage so it doesn't take up a ton of space. Every time I have to work on a bike without this thing it is pure agony. Would definitely recommend it. Might be pricier than some other stands, but the ease of use and quality make it worth it.

Exceeded my expectations

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was hesitant about my purchase. Park Tool is such a dominant name, that giving a chance to this stand was not easy. It is amazing, you just have to open the box and use it right away. Also, the quality is top notch, very sturdy and beautiful. The clamp is easy on the bike, grabs it well, and releases it in a breeze. Regarding the looks, even my wife likes the fancy red tube!

Tough to Beat

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This stand is lightweight, offers a ton of adjustability and stupid simple to use. I can have the stand ready to go in seconds with the 2 quick release clamps to extend the legs and clamp. I haven’t traveled with it much, but it packs up pretty small and is pretty easy to pack in a trunk. My favorite feature is the quick release clamp making it really easy to clamp and release. I would definitely say if you are using the stand regularly it is something you would really appreciate over other stands. The only gripe I’ve had is with a heavy mtb on the stand if you don’t have the legs in a good orientation the stability is compromised. Overall - a really great stand and worth every penny.

Spending to save

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Excellent quality, works perfectly and is very well balanced. Easily takes the weight of my heavy touring bikes and halves the time of all my bikes servicing. Commuting to work and riding for pleasure means I am working onions once or twice a week. Also found that my local bike shop uses them and also can't stop praising them. My only complaint is it will get you in trouble with the wife because you will want to spend even more time servicing bikes in the garage!! The best bike stand I have used.

Oozes quality

I was really impressed with this stand. I have been looking for my first repair stand for some time now and generally, they seem like overpriced junk. I bought this stand sight unseen based on reviews, and am really impressed with the service and the quality. Backcountry posted it the day I bought it, and the stand arrived in Australia 3 working days later, with very reasonable freighting cost. The stand is made from alloy and is reasonably light and looks like it will withstand a lot of use. It is really well designed - it unfolds easily and is very stable. The clamp is a gem - you can place the bike in it and clamp it up straight away by sliding the ratchet mechanism closed. After this, you just need to tighten up a little more with the dial, but the stand is taking the weight of your bike as you do this. It has coped with my heavy touring/commuting bike with no problems. It folds away easily and the carry bag is great too. Very happy with the purchase.
