Insert somewhat humorous cage-fighting reference here

Cheap plastic bottle holsters might hold onto your gear on the road, but the burly Blackburn Mountain Water Bottle Cage was built for pedal-churning rides in the mountains. Oversized aluminum framing secures your water bottle tight so it won't go flying when you float over a rock garden at mach looney.

  • Tough, oversized aluminum cage
  • Several colors to choose from

Cheap and does the trick.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's a solid water bottle holder that looks cool in the blue color I grabbed for my Bronson. The alloy construction makes it heavier than its carbon or plastic competitors, but it's much cheaper. The extra weight isn't a big deal to riders who don't count every last gram. My bottle sits securely and doesn't bounce around, so it does its job admirably.

Colors; how do they work.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought a few of the red and blue cages just to see if they matched my bikes at all. Well, you get what you pay for. The 'red' is impressively on the pink side of the color wheel. I absolutely would not call it red. The blue is also not close to the photo (shocking, I know). I guess it's more of a light blue, but not too bad. The 'pink' cages are useless to me but also not worth returning. As for do they work? Probably, if you can get past the colors.

Does what it's made for

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Secure, inexpensive, durable, and comes in some cool colors! What more could you ask for?

Inexpensive and easy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I grabbed a couple of these for my commuter bike. They are basic, but what frills do you really need from a water bottle cage? They hold my bottle, and come in sweet colors, which is a win in my book.

Super Cheap, Feels Solid

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This thing is super cheap, mounts really solid and holds my water bottle. Perfect.

Easy to install

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used this holder for the past month and it is great. Super easy to install and and only takes about a minute. It fits my water bottle perfectly and I have had no issues with it.

KOM machine

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing will make you ride 250% faster on every trail. Be the cyclist you wish you could be and buy this cage!

In reality, it just holds your bottle real well.

Game Changer

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This so called "bottle holder" does more than just that. It can also hold your dreams, if your dreams were liquid and came in a bottle. Installation was easy. The bottle sits secured to the bike, and did not wiggle around. Military Grade metal for an indestructible holder (I kid). It does the job.

    Light, Cheap, Works

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Mounted easily--holds bottles well and matches my bike. these are actually lighter than a lot of the carbon or plastic ones on the market.

    Cheap and good!

High quality cage for a cheap price! This cage keeps bottles secure even when riding over rocky terrain. Your bottle will not fly out!

      Classic Cage

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

It is versatile, tough and simple. I put it on my kids bike, great price.

      A classic!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Classic bottle cage. Worked well 20 years ago - works well now!
I prefer my cinetic cage, but my lady wanted this one and likes it. Make sure you have a bottle that fits this size, as they are clamping it right down and fitting a different size bottle/hard plastic bottle in this cage is next near to impossible. If you have a soft plastic bottle/right size bottle you are set with a timelessly designed classic!
