Comfortable, breathable, firm support

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 11

I switched to these from a pair of Asics I wore out pretty quickly. They provide very firm support, are quite light, they breathe really well, and enable fantastic maneuverability and footwork. i highly recommend them!

I've been wearing these since the 3rd version. I buy a few when they are on sale. They are great shoe! Wide toe box, durable, light. They hold up mile after mile!!

Better than my Hoka's

I was really surprised. These are smoother, have more life, and feel more active than my Hoka road shoes, yet are light and nimble. The wider toe box really helped my "6th toe" and still allows me plenty of control and ability to snug things up when the going get's fast.

This is the shoe I have been looking for. If you are a runner you fully understand what I’m talking about here. We all seek ”that” shoe that will contribute to the pleasures of running, and not just another pair of shoes that will enable you to run. Yes, this shoe enables you to run, but damn it is the most comfortable shoe I’ve had to date. I put in over 50 miles a week on the road…which is difficult on it’s own, since it is road running after all …not trail. But these shoes have really changed my outlook on the road.

Quality: I have probably 150 miles on these so far and no major sign of wear and tear. I was worried about the Continental sole, since I had heard it wears fast, I have not experienced this. It’s funny that I talked trash on these shoes before trying them, saying the Boost was a scam. Trust me, it is no scam. We will see if it breaks down, supposedly it does not….it’s like magic.
Score 5/5

Comfort: There is a reason why this shoe was voted Runner's World Editor's Choice twice. Fit is snug, not as snug as a Salomon Sense Pro. That said it is not tight in anyway, so wider feet peeps I would not worry too much, the mesh upper I think will adapt nicely. The toe box is no Altra, so if you are looking the spread the toes this is not the shoe. Good ventilation so far, but haven’t had them in temp’s over 90 yet…and not looking forward to that anyways…

Weighing in at 10.7 ounces (size 9) I really wish they were a bit lighter, but for an everyday runner it’s within range of competitors. Also, I would rather have a great shoe that weights 10.7 than a bad shoe that weights 9.
Score 5/5

At $130 Retail - this is a great price for the Boost line. Anything above this is my tipping point though. 5/5

Looks: Adidas always keeps it so fresh and so clean.

One of the best

The boost material and tread are real impressive. Made for roads, but I use the shoe for trails frequently and it has held up like a champ. 3rd time purchasing this model. Just the right amount of boost to EVA ratio.

Awesome Shoes!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

First pair of running shoes I have ever bought and I loved them. They are so comfy that I feel like I am running on air!

Awesome Shoes!

a Do-it-all shoe

This shoe has been great for me, the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was because i wish It had a better heel hold (critical for an athletic/running shoe)

I use this shoe as my daily gym shoe, light hiker, trail mtn biking shoes and a causal around town shoe. I just got back from a trip to Moab and this was the only shoe I brought. I did hiking, mtn biking and camping. (I did get a little sand in my shoe on a scramble up to my camp site destination, but that was my only complaint.

a Do-it-all shoe

a little narrow in the front

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 10.5

I tried this shoe on and was turned off a little bit by the toe box. Still a very comfy shoe for sure other than that. If it was a tad wider it would be better for me but my forefoot is a bit wide but the rest of my foot is pretty normal. The heel was way comfy and i'm sure after it was broken in would be just fine. all in all a good shoe. The toe box wrap was a bit stiff but as i said i'm sure once they were broken in would be just fine.
