We rely on the StepUp Swing Full Featured Hitch Platform Bike Rack when access and efficiency matter as much as bike security. Yakima designed this rack around a fully integrated swing-away arm that allows unobstructed rear vehicle access, with or without bikes loaded, eliminating the need to unload just to open a hatch or tailgate.

The rack features RampUp-compatible V-shaped trays that guide wheels into position and support tires from 16 to 29 inches wide, up to 4.5 inches. A StadiumSeating tiered spine vertically staggers bikes to reduce handlebar, pedal, and saddle interference while maximizing ground clearance. Wheelbases from 32 to 52 inches are supported, making it compatible with modern road, gravel, mountain, and electric mountain bikes.

An allen-driven SpeedWedge system secures the rack tightly inside a 2-inch hitch receiver, minimizing movement and simplifying installation and removal. Integrated SKS locks secure bikes and rack, while the swing-away mechanism locks firmly in both open and closed positions for confident transport.
