Wolf Tooth MK0 DEL gravel pedal cuts 43g off the original
MK0 marks the second generation of Wolf Tooth's DEL platform, and it drops from 217g to 174g per pair, a 43g cut. The titanium axle now carries a diamond-like carbon coating rather than the original's stainless steel, moving mass reduction to the axle rather than the pedal shell. Platform area comes down slightly too, from 611mm² to 559mm², the tradeoff Wolf Tooth accepted to hit that weight figure on an already minimal single-sided body. For gravel racers chasing marginal gains, that's a straightforward weight-for-weight tradeoff worth knowing before swapping pedals.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The pedal reorients itself the instant my foot lifts, so the engagement face sits ready before I even look down to clip back in. That's worth more mid-race than a lighter number on a spec sheet, because a fumbled remount costs real seconds a scale never measures."
