The Vittoria Tierra Cycling Shoe takes inspiration from the brand’s heritage lace-ups while tailoring its performance to the modern gravel rider. Built by hand in Italy, the Tierra uses a microfiber upper with minimal stitching to shed mud and moisture while resisting abrasion from rough terrain. Side vents maintain breathability on long, hot rides, while a vulcanized rubber toe cap adds reinforcement where it’s needed most.

The carbon composite sole provides efficient pedaling stiffness without sacrificing comfort during extended efforts. Rubber tread panels at the cleat and heel improve walkability during hike-a-bike sections, and Vittoria includes toe spikes for additional traction when conditions call for it. While the lack of midfoot tread can make clipping in less forgiving, once engaged the shoes deliver consistent performance.

The lace-up closure system keeps things simple and reliable, particularly in muddy conditions where mechanical closures might fail. At 572 grams per pair, the Tierra balances durability, comfort, and understated Italian styling, making it a versatile option for gravel racers and adventurers alike.
