I got these after really liking the matching TLD raid knee pads. They feel true to size, a little snug but it sounds like they will relax a little from the other reviews, and I definitely prefer snug to loose. They're not leaving a mark or anything, and the sleeve lets the breeze in. Easy on/off, nice hard pad with a lot of forearm protection. I was glad I went with this heavier pad vs. the leaner alternatives from TLD, although I haven't fallen in them yet - I just can't see much downside in the extra heft - I barely feel them climbing. The top of the sleeve hides under a longish short sleeve shirt so there is no visible gap.

The size chart doesn’t have measurements for XL/XXL, is it possible to find out what those measurements are?

Saved my arm
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
To be completely honest with you I'd be in the hospital with a broken elbow/arm if i wasn't wearing these today. I slammed straight into a face of a rock going mock 5. My left elbow pad blew up due to the insane impact. and because i has these on i was able to get away with just a bruised hip and a few more runs. Thank you TLD

I used the sizing chart for another model to measure my arms, and then I ordered the M/L size. Very tight. I had a hard time getting my hand through the sleeve. Once I had them on, they were pretty tight around my biceps. Removing them was very difficult. The elbow cup is pretty nice and covers the bone on each side of my elbow and extends nicely down the forearm. The sleeve itself covers from about 2" above my wrist to the middle of my biceps. I'm returning and going up to the XL/XXL size. I am tall with pretty thin cycling arms.
