For riders who spend hours on broken tarmac, washboard gravel, and unmarked forest roads, the Gravel Bike Short is built as a fully featured, on-bike workhorse. The primary body uses a stretch nylon blend that offers flexibility and support, while textured Sitip Easy Rider side panels add abrasion resistance where overgrowth or frame contact is most likely. A 2-piece waistband with a clean-finished front and a 3.5-inch rear waist panel stabilizes the short around the torso, and the hi-rise bonded front reduces bulk and pressure when riding in the drops or on flared gravel bars.

Construction details focus on reducing pressure and hot spots over long distances. Six-panel patterning with seam-free center legs removes stitching from the saddle contact zone, minimizing friction on loose or rutted surfaces. Laser-cut leg openings provide a low-profile edge, while strategically placed silicone print on the interior of the leg elastic ensures grip exactly where it is needed to keep the 10-inch inseam from creeping up, without over-gripping or constricting the thigh.

Storage and airflow are tuned for gravel and bikepacking use. Dual zippered side pockets sized for smartphones are lined with mesh against the skin, so when partially unzipped they act as targeted vents on sustained climbs; a 4-inch open mesh pocket on the right hip adds quick-stash space for gels, wrappers, or a compact tool.
