Maven Ultimate Expert Kit Limited Edition Brakes

From freeride lines to laps at the bike park, SRAM's new Maven brakes are their most powerful brake to date and live for steep technical descents and high-speed chunder. With larger pistons and brake pads than SRAM's previously most powerful brake, the Maven features 50% more power than the SRAM Code brakes and a 32% reduction in lever force, meaning the Maven is better suited for charging hard into steep and technical terrain than any other brake in SRAM's lineup. The Maven caliper has greater thermal mass than other SRAM calipers, which means they take longer to heat up and keep away excess heat to ensure better performance and a consistent brake feel through sustained technical descents. SRAM took their new technology from the DB8 and the recently improved Code brakes and combined them to produce the Maven brake. The Maven uses mineral oil for less maintenance and better performance, and the Stealth technology improves the lever construction and makes for a cleaner look with tidier cable routing. The four-bolt design on the side of the caliper makes for a stiffer caliper when under braking forces, reducing power loss and making for a more solid feel. The Maven features a pad contact adjustment wheel at the lever so we can get the perfect bite pint, and the tool-free reach adjustment ensures our lever is always in the ideal position. The Maven Ultimate Expert Kit comes with two limited-edition red splash anodized Maven Ultimate calipers, two Ultimate levers, four SRAM HS2 rotors in three different sizes, all the mounts, barbs, barrels, brackets, and clamps needed for brake installation, as well as two sets of metal and organic brake pads each to give us everything we need to get our brakes set up.
