The Apex 1 rear derailleur combines a Roller Bearing Clutch with X-HORIZON geometry to control chain tension and reduce shift force, addressing both ghost shifting and chain slap without relying on one mechanism to do both jobs. Long cage capacity fits up to a 42-tooth cog across a 10-42T cassette range, and a large upper pulley offset automatically adjusts chain gap as the derailleur travels.
