- Side-loading design balances bottle retention with ease-of-use
- SWAT-compatible attachments for EMT Cage Mount Tool and MTB XC Box
- Right-hand loading on the down tube, left-hand loading on the seat tube

Very pleased
My MTB mounts are on the bottom of the down tube. I tried a couple of different water bottle holders, and I was getting sick of buying new water bottles as they'd eventually bounce out. This one is great, the bottle sits securely and yet its still easy to pull out of the cage.

No bueno...
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These look sweet on the bike but didn’t last 2 rides. Paint rubbed off and one end of the cage snapped... not great, unfortunately I had to return. Props to backcountry for the easy return.

I have always had a strong bias for the Specialized Zee Cage for a couple of reasons. Its easy to install, it holds your bottle really tight and has the option to integrate the Specialized EMT Multi-Tool. -This bottle cage uses a side entry system, and the way the cage is shaped is fantastic, it cradles the bottle and holds it securely in place. - On the underside of the cage you have the option to integrate with the Specialized EMT tool, one less thing in the saddlebag, but also easily accessible for quick repairs on the trails or on the side of the road. -I have used this cage on the underside of the downtube on my Santa Cruz Blur and charged through some pretty chunky rock gardens the bottle didn't go anywhere! I was sold from that point and vowed to not use another cage. Whether you are looking to add this to your bike, or have any other questions, feel free to give me a call or send me an email! samason@backcountry.com

Hello Samuel, Do you also have the same cage inside the Frame? I also have a Santa Cruz Blur and need to find a better cage than I currently have. Does the cage sit low enough so you can fit a 24 oz bottle inside of your frame? Thanks, John
