Specialized designed the Stumpjumper 15 EVO Frameset to erase the classic trail-bike compromises. The core is GENIE—an air-spring architecture that runs a linear rate through the bump zone for traction and control, then transitions to a pronounced rising rate in the last third of travel. On trail, that translates to 16.3% better bump force management versus a standard air spring, 57% better traction, and 39% fewer bottom-outs, so 145mm of rear travel behaves like much more without the weight and friction of a coil.
Geometry breadth is built in. Six distinct settings let you refine head angle and bottom bracket height to match terrain and riding style, while aftermarket links preserve handling whether you choose full 29 or a mixed-wheel rear for tighter corners and quicker manuals. The stock layout centers the rider for corner support and mid-stroke pump, with a low BB and slack head angle for stability when speeds get high.
The frameset is engineered for clean, quiet, durable builds. SWAT 4.0 integrates downtube storage that’s weather-resistant and rattle-free; a threaded bottom bracket eases home service; internal routing stays tidy; and SRAM UDH future-proofs the hanger interface. Electronic-drivetrain-only compatibility simplifies the cockpit and improves sealing at the entry points, reducing noise and maintenance. Pair it with a 210×55 shock (included FLOAT X Factory with GENIE tune) and your choice of 150–160mm fork to land a trail bike that sprints, corners, and descends like it’s breaking the rules—because it is.
