"Specialized built the Allez Sprint by applying everything they learned from the Tarmac SL7 development to aluminum. The D'Aluisio Smartweld hydroformed bottom bracket and downtube is a single piece of alloy, which eliminates the flex point that makes most aluminum frames feel harsh and imprecise under load. The geometry is identical to the Tarmac, so the handling is exactly what you'd expect from a championship-proven platform."
Why We Like It
We built this around the Allez Sprint frameset because the platform deserved better than a stock build. The Zipp 303 S wheels, Rival E1 AXS groupset with integrated power meter, and Roval Rapide cockpit are components we selected to complement what the frame does well—stiff, fast, and precise—without adding weight or compromising the handling that makes the Allez Sprint worth building up in the first place.
