The Pilot Mips Helmet is designed for riders who spend their days chasing dirt, elevation, and flow. Smith’s lightweight in-mold construction fuses a polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner to minimize weight while maximizing impact performance, making it ideal for long days on the trail.

At the core of the helmet is the Mips Brain Protection System, a low-friction layer that allows controlled movement between the helmet and head during angled impacts to help reduce rotational forces. Combined with a precise dial-adjust fit system and multiple shell sizes, the Pilot Mips Helmet delivers a secure, customized feel across a wide range of head shapes.

Ventilation is handled by Smith’s AirEvac system, which works with 13 fixed vents to pull warm air away from the face and exhaust it toward the rear of the helmet.
