The construction is a tri-laminate composite of PET, PU, and a proprietary abrasion-resistant film that works together to provide 249 percent more abrasion resistance than standard single-layer tubeless tapes. The three layers serve distinct functions: the PET layer provides dimensional stability and prevents stretching under pressure, the PU layer contributes the controlled flexibility needed for clean installation on varied rim bed profiles, and the abrasion-resistant outer film protects the tape from the spoke holes and rim bed edges that cause premature wear and puncture in lesser products. The result is a tape that holds secure and stable at pressures up to 120psi and performs reliably across a temperature range from -4°F to 140°F, covering everything from winter training to summer racing in hot climates.
