The Artex Gold Ultra 2.5-layer construction delivers fully waterproof, seam-sealed protection at just 250 grams in a size medium, representing a meaningful weight reduction over the previous generation while simultaneously improving waterproofness by a factor of 2.5. The lighter nylon face fabric is softer and quieter than before while retaining the abrasion resistance needed for real riding conditions, and the textured microprint half-layer brings a noticeably improved feel against a base layer.

The cycling-specific architecture sets the Century apart from general-purpose rain shells. Extended arm length maintains coverage in an aggressive position on the drops, the shorter front panel eliminates bunching when leaned over the bars, and the drop-tail provides rear coverage at speed without excess fabric. XL core vents and a dedicated rear vent create meaningful mechanical ventilation for high-output efforts, while adjustable cuffs add airflow management on demand. The chest clip controls flap when descending unzipped, and high-quality water-resistant zippers seal every opening. Scotchlite reflective trims provide 360-degree visibility in low light, and the entire jacket compresses into its own rear pocket for on-bike carry.
