SDG designed the Bel-Air V3 Overland for exactly the kind of riding where comfort and performance cannot be separated: hundred-mile gravel events, long XC loops, and technical trail days where time in the saddle adds up fast. Built on the same platform that has defined SDG's lineup for more than twenty years, the Overland introduces a refined geometry and material spec aimed directly at riders who push hard and ride long.

At the core of the design is a full cutout relief channel that extends from the nose through the rear of the saddle, working alongside a deep peri-canal to reduce pressure in the perineal region during sustained efforts. The reduced rear rise is exclusive to the Overland model within the Bel-Air V3 lineup, allowing a more aggressive forward riding position without the discomfort that typically accompanies it. Injection-molded EVA foam sits beneath a one-piece soft microfiber cover that is vacuum-sealed to the nylon glass base using SDG's ATMOS construction process. This eliminates the need for staples, bumpers, or adhesives entirely, leaving a smooth and seamless surface that reduces friction and eliminates wear points over long miles. A wider nose platform provides a secure contact point for out-of-saddle climbing efforts, while the nylon glass base with integrated bridge transfers power efficiently and resists flex under load.

Lux-Alloy rails measure 260mm in length and sit at a 140mm width, placing the Overland within a versatile fit range that suits most gravel and trail geometries. At 230g, the weight is competitive for an alloy-railed saddle in this category and leaves room in the build for riders who are not chasing grams at the expense of comfort. The ATMOS-sealed microfiber cover is durable enough for all-weather riding and maintains its friction-free feel through repeated use.
