The Roval Terra Gravel Cockpit is engineered for riders who want road efficiency without sacrificing control when the pavement ends. Traditional drop bars often force a compromise between narrow road positioning and the wider stance needed for stability on rough terrain. The Terra addresses this with a carefully designed 12-degree flare that widens the drops while maintaining a natural hood position. The result is a cockpit that feels efficient and familiar on pavement but provides extra leverage and control when descending loose gravel or navigating technical sections.

Constructed from high modulus carbon fiber, the Terra bar balances vibration damping with lateral stiffness. This carbon layup helps absorb chatter from washboard roads and rough surfaces while maintaining precise steering response when sprinting or cornering. The ergonomic shaping along the tops features a flattened “egg” profile that distributes pressure across the palm, reducing fatigue during long gravel rides where riders often spend extended time on the tops.

Compact geometry plays a major role in the Terra’s versatility. With a 70mm reach and 103mm drop, the bar keeps the drops close and accessible, encouraging riders to use that stable position more frequently rather than reserving it only for descents. Available in widths from 38cm to 44cm measured at the hoods, the flare naturally widens the stance at the drops for added control. A standard 31.8mm clamp diameter ensures compatibility with modern stems, while Di2 ES-RS910 bar-end junction support makes it easy to integrate electronic shifting systems into a clean cockpit setup.
