Position repeatability is one of the foundational goals of a fitted time trial setup. Every contact point, from saddle to armrests, needs to be consistent from the first kilometer to the last, and from training ride to race day. The PRO Missile EVO Armrest Pads address the armrest side of that equation with materials and mounting hardware chosen specifically to hold position under the sustained, sweat-soaked, road-vibration reality of a competitive effort.

The pad surface is microfiber-covered foam at 1cm thickness. Microfiber is the meaningful specification here. Under sustained elbow and forearm pressure, synthetic foam surfaces compress unevenly and allow the arm to migrate, subtly shifting the rider's weight distribution and disrupting the position the fit was built around. Microfiber resists that movement, maintaining consistent grip across the full surface area of the pad regardless of duration or conditions. The 1cm profile provides genuine cushioning without adding stack that would alter the rider's arm angle or effective reach to the extensions.

Mounting uses a hook-and-loop system with 3M adhesive backing beneath the velcro layer, a dual-retention approach that prevents the pad rotation and forward creep that single-method mounting systems are prone to on rough road surfaces.
